Our God is sovereign and ruler of the universe. He does not invite you to set magnificent goals and then expect you to just wish He would join you. He already has His own agenda when He approaches you. His desire is to get you from where you are to where He is working.
He will lead you to be like christ and go from self centered to being God-centered. When God reveals to you where He is working, tha becomes His invitation to join Him in His activity.
When God reveals His work to you, that is the time to respond to Him.
Ask Him .... and see. :)
